Musky Pete
with his 43.5" winning fish for MM40 |
|
|
|
Well everyone, another exciting Musky
Mania is in the books and believe it or not I’ve gone another
tournament without boating a fish. There were a total of 8 fish
registered and 2 others that didn’t get registered that were
caught Sunday mid-morning. The big fish was AGAIN caught by Musky
Pete. Therefore, he will have the high honor of setting up MM41.
We had a really good turn out this fall with some great food,
great prizes and a great time. The weather turned pretty cool the
week prior to MM40 making the fishing a little tough. Over half of
the fish were caught on suckers this year as we have moved 1 week
later into October. The cool temperatures, frost and fog both
mornings made the fishing a little challenging early (much easier
now thanks to GPS), but as the fog lifted and the sun burned
through it made for great weather.
