Musky Mania 29 is in
the books as one where more fish were seen than ever before. Due to
the late spring many fish were still in the shallows spawning which
resulted in ease of spotting fish. Some boats reported seeing as
many as 40 plus fish on Saturday, with everyone seeing lots of fish
relative to musky fishing.
Although the weather
was in the high 70's on Saturday, it was much cooler on Sunday with
temperatures in the 50's. Winds were strong all weekend and resulted
in many amps on the trolling motors being used. Despite all this 14
fish were registered.
Since the two largest
fish were the same length (38") 1st place is shared jointly by the
winners and they have the pleasure of coordinating MM30 together. |

As is becoming
the tradition, anyone winning money (top 5 places paid) will work
with the winners in coordinating the next event.
Thanks to the 36
fisherman and women who participated in MM29, hopefully everyone
had a good time and will be looking forward to MM30 in the fall.
All fish were released to grow and
fight another day, a great job by everyone and I hope to see all
at MM30 in the fall. Hopefully everyone that caught fish is listed
above.
Once again we encourage everyone who
catches fish to register as this stirs interest in everyone who
participates.
