We I have a
correction, an addition and a story that I must share. I'm willing to
bet you didn't hear this at the lunch Saturday.
First - I short changed Gordie, he caught TWO fish. A 30" (That I had
under Mark's name) and a 25" that I had down as a 23" fish.
Second - Reid Kuen caught a 24" fish Sunday morning that we didn't get
on the board.
That brings the total to 21 fish.
Third - THE STORY: Rick Konetzke didn't bother to share this with us
at lunch, but we should all let him know we're sorry it happened. I
heard from a friend that after he put his boat in the water Saturday
morning he let his partner stay in it until he parked the truck and
returned to the dock. On his return he looked up at an eagle (as I'm
sure the rest of us do, just not while walking on the dock) tripped
over his own feet and fell into the lake.

He was in water up to
his neck! He didn't have a change of cloths so he had to return to
the cottage to change.
This unfortunately
kept him off the water of an hour or so. It also kept him off the
water latter that afternoon, because he had to spend an hour in a
laundry mat drying the only two sets of cloths he brought. The one he
fell in the lake with and the one he fished in the rain in without any
kind of rain gear. That was left at home.
I feel extremely bad for him
because he had to sit in the laundry mat for an hour wearing only a
long T-shirt he borrowed from his partner. I don't know why he didn't
want to share this with us at lunch? I hope he joins us this fall and
has better luck!!!!
Take care and thanks again to everyone for making this a record
breaking tournament.... |
